You may have noticed the place is looking a little bare. I’ve decided to completely rebuild this site using Laravel. Moving away from WordPress has a few advantages: much faster, much more control over the architecture, and I can finally implement all of my dream features the way I want.
The next version is almost ready for live testing and I’m very excited about the new layout and data model. There is a whole new submission system, an actual moderation system, better promise and individual linking, an easier-to-use timeline feature and a lot more. Version 2 will see invitations going out to select contributors and prospective admins.
With Vancouver 2026 coming up in October I hope this will be a helpful resource to keep our elected officials and those who want to be accountable!
