  • On August 11, 2026, the City reported three major sewer upgrade projects as part of an $18 million investment to improve water quality, reduce flood risk, and strengthen system resilience. Memorial West was completed in July 2026, East 35th Avenue was completed in May 2026, and Shaughnessy area work was anticipated to finish in early September. The projects replace aging combined sewer pipes with separated storm and sanitary systems.
