Statement
Manage wildlife responsibly. Wildlife management will be science-based, with hunters, anglers and First Nations at the table. We will establish sustainable fish and wildlife population objectives; dedicate licence and tag revenue to an independent fish and wildlife commission; put more conservation officers in the field; and enact a made-in-BC species-at-risk law so BC habitat decisions are made here rather than imposed by Ottawa.
Overview
Replace federal intervention with provincial legislation, dedicates 100% of hunting/fishing tag fees to wildlife management, and hires more Conservation Officers.
