Statement
Four Floors and Corner Stores – OneCity will end Vancouver’s apartment ban and allow four floors and corner stores in every neighbourhood, and 6 floors near city centres and where local neighbourhood conditions support it. This means that we will end the practice of forcing some areas to grow and preventing any change in others, and we will allow every neighbourhood to become vibrant, thriving, unique neighbourhoods according to what actually makes sense. Permissive zoning gives folks the flexibility to actually build, and it empowers our neighbours to choose how, whether, and when their property is built up.
